Haruka's Secret 5 - Let's Pretend This Didn't Happen

This weeks episode deals with perseverance in the face of adversity, the power of friendship, the importance of being honest and true family values.
All things I hate, apparently...
Left me like a deer in headlights
Let's get it on the table - I hated this episode. The insipid after school special story, the bland characters, I couldn't take much of this. So if you're a Haruka fan, just let me wallow in my misery as they destroy my beloved concept.
First, it starts of with the obvious, as Yuuto runs into his mystery girl yet again.
How about EVERYBODY?
We knew it was coming, and we knew it would be cliche, but of course she's a transfer student into Yuuto's class.
And yes, we can make this even MORE cliche.
Their instant rapport raises some suspicions....
Looks like Yuuto's in trouble. We're going to need something really extraordinary to regain her trust, something outrageous like Shiina already hearing of the fame of Haruka...

I suppose one of the reasons I didn't like this episode is that there is nothing at all involving Haruka's otakuness. It's straight school life, all to set up the love triangle you know is coming. The rest of the story involves Haruka and Yuuto teaching Shiina to swim for the school swim meet, then Shiina getting a cramp and Yuuto saves her, causing Shiina to develop a full on crush. It's not worth talking about. But for those of you who have read this far and are hating me, I can tell you, I have seen Episode 6, the Comiket Episode, and it's all good. See you then!
