Haruka's Secret 10 - I Think I'm Going To Be Sick

Sometimes, you need to work to make a point. You need to drive home an argument over and over from different angles until something final drives it home. This can take time, and can be grueling to endure. Especially when it's something that should be simple, like saying "sorry you caught me grouping our mutual friend".
Nothing to see here, move along
Quick recap - recall that Haruka walked in on a classic anime cliché misunderstanding at the end of the last episode. All seems to be fine, as Yuuto catches up, explains things, and Haruka seems to believes him (at least she does when the words are translated right - another early release made no sense whatsoever at this point)
Not real convincing
Yuuto's not buying it either, but gets maid-block in his attempt to work it out by phone. Hazuki seems sympathetic, however, but not quite committed.
Maids always know more than they let on
Yuuto steals himself for round two of apologetic groveling, but gets a surprise at school.
Didn't I break you heart not 12 hours ago?
Yuuto displays his normal male intuition and sensitivity in assessing the situation (which, I should point out, is one of the things that makes Yuuto the star of this show. He may seem perfect at times, but you're often reminded that he is a NORMAL teenage boy)
I feel happppppy! I fell happpppy!
Luckily, Yuuto has other options.

Angel and Devil cosplay, do they have to make it so obvious? The reveal here is that Shiina will be going up against Haruka as one of the 8 finalists in the festival beauty pageant. I'll let you know right now nothing really comes of that so don't get excited for any cat fights in the near future. Shiina is more worried about how Haruka reacted to last night. Yuuto assess the situation.

She keeps this info to herself rather than point Yuuto in the right direction, but more because there is work to do rather than any malice.
Now, I am a veteran of many an anime school festival. It's one of those things that I assume is idealized through the lens, as I believe the high school experience in Japan is probably pretty similar to the high school experience in the states, just longer and more structured. So I find it really hard to believe there has ever been a festival cafe in Japan like this one.
Pass the peanuts of pathos
There is no way I could order that food with a straight face much less make or serve it. Maybe that's why everyone is keeping their eyes closed. But it keeps Haruka hopping, so much so that you can almost believe that she's not avoiding Yuuto. Almost.
Hello, I must be going
Once Haruka leaves, you can expect Mika to show up in her stead, mostly cause she's kind of curious about last night's festivities. Unfortunately, she's also completely clueless about what went down.
He already had some
Again, Hazuki knows more than she is letting on, and refuses to join them for the Miss Hakujou (the school name, I think) competition. OK, refuses is kind of harsh, since she remains stone faced through the whole think, and only a worried piano cord in the soundtrack tells you what's up.
The winner of the competition is a foregone conclusion.
She's French now?
Thanks to Mika, Yuuto is there to cheer her on. Their eyes meet across the crowded room, and then...

Yuuto cuts her off backstage, where she's got her game face back.
Maybe cause my girlfriend is acting psycho?
But she can't keep in up in the face of more apologizing from Yuuto.
Even tormented, she looks so CUTE!
On the good side, this little outburst finally gives Yuuto a clue, and he tried to hunt down Haruka to set things right.

In classic form, Shiina picks this worst of all possible moments to make her move.
One withered look from Yuuto and she knows not to even try.

Ya got to feel for Shiina. Yuuto and Haruka are so sewn up as a couple you have to wonder what her role in this story is anymore. I was shocked she still had any try left in her.

Haruka goes ninja on Yuuto, now nowhere to be found. Hazuki come to the rescue, since thanks to her stalking habit, knows exactly what's up. In fact, she is able to dispense advice based on practical experience.
